Who we are

We are a team of education experts and social workers. We believe a child's education should not depend on their parents' income. In Germany, millions of families have a right to tutoring paid by the state – but too often the paperwork gets in the way.

That is exactly where we help: We connect government support with good tutoring. We guide you through the whole application, talk to the authorities, and make sure your child gets the support they need.

Social commitment

We stand for equal educational opportunities and support families where it matters most.

Proven quality

Our tutors are trained and know their subjects well – for all grade levels.

Individual support

Every child learns differently. We find the right approach for each child's personal success.

Future opportunities

With targeted help, we put your child on the path to a good school-leaving certificate.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the most important questions about the BuT application.

Who is eligible for free tutoring?
All students whose families get Citizen's Allowance (Bürgergeld), housing benefit (Wohngeld), child supplement (Kinderzuschlag), social assistance, or benefits under the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act are entitled.
Is the tutoring really 100% free?
Yes, completely. If you get, for example, Citizen's Allowance, housing benefit or child supplement, the government pays the full costs through the Education and Participation Package (BuT). There are no fees, no upfront payments, and no hidden costs for you.
Does this affect my Citizen's Allowance or housing benefit?
No. The tutoring is an additional benefit. Your monthly payments from the authorities will not be reduced. It is not counted as income.
Do I have to deal with the paperwork at the authorities?
No, we take care of that! You just fill out our short online form. We prepare all applications ready for your signature and communicate directly with the authorities and the school. All you need to do is sign at the end.
In which cities do you offer tutoring?
We are active throughout Germany! We offer tutoring at many local locations. This way we ensure that every child gets the help they need – no matter where you live.
Which subjects are supported?
Generally all subjects in which your child needs help to keep up at school (e.g., math, German, English). We help your child close knowledge gaps and rediscover the joy of learning.
